SAP Announces Improvements to SAP Integration Suite
SAP unveils a new generative AI capability, a new licensing option and updated features for SAP Integration Suite. SAP’s integration platform-as-a-service facilitates a robust end-to-end solution experience by integrating SAP and non-SAP systems, applications and services.
In the first half of 2025, developers will get AI-generated suggestions to optimize integration scripts, boosting efficiency and lowering operational costs.
New Licensing Option
SAP Integration Suite, starter edition, available in Q4 2024, will offer an unlimited number of prepackaged SAP integrations and a fixed number of customizable integrations for GROW with SAP and SAP SuccessFactors customers.
Updated Features
The following new and updated features will be added to SAP Integration Suite in Q4 2024:
New eventing capabilities which detect and respond to real-time changes in data and processes have been embedded in SAP Integration Suite. These features let standard and premium edition customers start with basic event-driven real time integrations and scale up to enterprise-grade setups using SAP Integration Suite, advanced event mesh for distributed environments, where applications and systems are spread across multiple locations.
A new data space integration capability connects SAP and non-SAP systems with open data ecosystems such as the Catena-X network for the automotive industry. Open data ecosystems enable multiple organizations or entities to share data in a controlled, secure and interoperable manner while ensuring compliance with relevant data sharing regulations.
New integration adapters that let users manage data from various third-party technology platforms, including Anaplan, Coupa, HubSpot, NetSuite ERP, Snowflake, and more.
An update to the migration tool which now allows for mass migration of integration scenarios from SAP Process Orchestration to SAP Integration Suite.
