The prestigious SAP Quality Awards for Customer Success celebrate and recognize customers who have excelled in the implementation of their SAP software solutions by using SAP's ten quality principles to:

All SAP customers with successful implementations of any SAP product can submit a nomination for the SAP Quality Awards for Customer Success as long as they have gone live and been in productive use between two and eighteen months prior to submission. The project size, duration and effort as well as the solution(s) in scope should be considered in order to determine the most appropriate category.
Rapid Time to Value
Two of the three criteria should be met in order to apply in this category:
< 600 users
< 7 months project duration
< 1.000 person days estimated implementation effort *
Business Transformation
Two of the three criteria should be met in order to apply in this category:
> 500 users
> 6 months project duration
> 900 person days estimated implementation effort *
Sustainability
These two criteria should be met in order to apply in this category:
Use cases (preferably with an active deployment) of at least one of the solutions of SAP’s Cloud for Sustainable Enterprises (SAP Sustainability Portfolio).
Measurable impact on at least one of the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and on the company’s business performance.

Market Unit Winners also automatically qualify for entry to the regional SAP Quality Awards for Customer Success. The date of the next regional SAP Quality Awards for Customer Success is yet to be determined.
* The 2021 cycle was the last Regional Winner competition. Starting in 2023, the Quality Award will only be a local Award in the MEE countries.
Eligibility and Criteria
If your organization is based in or has been served by one of the following SAP market units / geographies, you can apply for the SAP Quality Awards for Customer Success:
Austria
Central and Eastern Europe (Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Georgia, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan)
Germany
Italy
Switzerland
Entry and Evaluation Criteria
The SAP Quality Awards for Customer Success are open to all organizations with successful implementations of any SAP product.
The SAP implementation must have gone live and be actively used by the business or organization between 2 and 18 months before the award submission.
The implementation must include products from SAP’s solution portfolio where business users are impacted, whether implemented On Premise or in the Cloud.
Only projects that have not been nominated for the SAP Quality Awards for Customer Success in previous years are eligible. Customers must be served by an SAP market unit.
Only customers can apply. Implementation partners cannot apply on behalf of customers.
Customers can apply in several categories, provided the entries are for different SAP projects.
Each nomination may only be submitted in the SAP market unit that serves the customer or the main location for the implementation.
Applicants must be available for follow-up phone calls and potentially for a visit, if required during the evaluation process.
Winners must be available for interviews and press activities supporting the award events.
All answers on the questionnaire must be completed in English or German.
Changes to the applications will not be accepted after the submission deadline set by the market unit in which the nomination is submitted.
Adherence to quality principles: How does your nominated project address SAP's 10 quality principles? Applicants should demonstrate how these principles of quality have been realized, including the key performance indicators used. Guidelines on what to include have been provided for all 10 quality principles in the questionnaire.
Time and cost of implementation: What project initiatives were employed to reduce total cost of implementation (TCI), total cost of ownership (TCO), and implementation time?
Business benefits: What business benefits have been achieved as a result of the implementation?
Completeness of answers: All questions must be answered (in English or German.) to achieve the highest possible score.
Conciseness of answers: Answers should be as precise as possible with focus on how quality excellence was achieved in each area.

Timeline
The table below will be updated with the key dates for each SAP market unit once confirmed. When the submission period is closed for the confirmed SAP market units, the shortlisted candidates will present their projects in a 45 minute virtual session to an independent judging panel to determine the winners.
