Commitment to a circular economy is not just discourse, it’s an applied practice at Ambipar. Rethinking how its carbon data is managed aligned with the benefits of SAP Sustainability Control Tower. Consolidating its carbon data allowed the company to work from a unified source—reinforcing reporting accuracy and overall traceability.
To ensure sustainability metrics would be at the core of its business processes and decision-making, Ambipar opted for the RISE with SAP offering, sustainability essentials package. This features SAP Sustainability Control Tower, the SAP Sustainability Footprint Management solution, and the SAP Sustainability Data Exchange application. With a phased solution approach, the company created a transparent, interconnected ecosystem to support its sustainability strategy across all business functions. For materials traceability, Ambipar also included the SAP Green Token solution.

The synergistic dynamic produced Net Zero as a Service—a fluid integration of Ambipar’s carbon offset platform called Ambify and SAP Sustainability Control Tower. With this new unified platform, companies can decarbonize business processes and purchase verified, high-quality carbon credits to address emissions that are difficult to abate with ease and confidence.

Climate Week 2024 presented the perfect backdrop to announce this strategic partnership. Ambipar is currently piloting Net Zero as a Service in its own operations with plans to scale and hit aggressive growth targets within two months of implementation. The comprehensive solution, which includes SAP Sustainability Footprint Management, SAP Sustainability Data Exchange, SAP Sustainability Control Tower, and SAP Green Token, provides ERP-centric, carbon emissions management, ESG reporting, and materials traceability across a unified data foundation.
Ambipar created Ambify to give the world an opportunity to contribute to a low-carbon economy using high-quality carbon credits. All Ambify carbon credits are certified by the Verified Carbon Standard, an international model by Verra, that validates over 70% of the global voluntary market. Education is also a vital part of its program, with a focus on promoting conscious consumption and planet preservation.
